"A New Art Studio!"

Hi, y'all!

I hope y'all are having a good week!

This week I'm finally starting to get back in the groove of painting signs!  A few weeks ago we cleaned out and swapped a few rooms around in our partially finished basement.  After all, was said and (mostly) done, we had an extra room tucked away in a corner of our basement.  Half of it is going to be used for storing furniture that will go in the rest of the basement once it's finished along with large projects that we don't have any other place for.  But the other half...(cue the drumroll)...was an excellent place for an art studio!

I mean, it didn't look like a great place then...but just keep reading...

The first task was to get all of the furniture and etc. moved to the opposite wall and packed in as tight as I could get it.  Special thanks to my sister for helping me move the huge dresser!

All clear!

After that I brought my temporary desk in and loaded it up with art supplies to organize.  It doesn't look like much because the majority of my supplies consists of wood and that is all packed in the studio's closet...another organization project for another day.

And this is the finished project!

Complete with a recovered cork board and color coordinated paint shelf.

And of course a string of twinkle lights make any room extra cozy!

The only thing this space needs now is a coffee maker😉.

I'm basically going to be hiding out in the studio for the next couple weeks. Which I am pretty excited about now that I have everything in one place!! I have quite a few projects to finish (and start) before I'm off to Missouri for vacation!

Would road trip pictures be something y'all would like to see?
